New Album: Eat Skull – III

Eat Skull - Where'd You Go

Eat Skull continue to stick with the formula.

Eat Skull released one of my favorite tracks back in 2009 with “Stick To The Formula” but quickly disappeared from the horizon as fast as they appeared. Thankfully the mirage is real again as they release their first album in four years today via the stellar Woodsist Records. Fittingly named III, the Portland bands third album veers slightly left from their previous lo-fi rockers and enters some sort of hybrid psychedelic garage, and from listening to their first single, “‘How Do I Know When To Say Goodnight” – it’s going to be a killer album.

Eat Skull have also pressed a 7″ via Volar Records, which is part of a limited singles-series box set with four other great bands. This is the song featured below (“Where’d You Go”) and the set, which features five 7″ in total, can be purchased here.

Recommended If You Like: Guided By Voices, Wavves, Lo-Fi, Nodzzz
