Light Heat play an airy & effortless brand of Indie Pop that I can’t help comparing to Phosphorescent, it’s obviously not as country, but both have similar vibes with sad songs sung in a happy tone. Light Heat is the brain child of Quentin Stoltzfus who’s been working on the album for the better part of seven years, and the wait and effort shine through in its fleckless production and deft detail. It also doesn’t hurt to have friends from a band called The Walkmen backing you up either. Doesn’t hurt at all.

You can purchase Light Heat’s debut album via Ribbon Music and watch the official video for “Elevation” below.
